Alaskan Diamond Willow Cribbage Board from Alaska (#01)
Hand Crafted by H. Plass
The cribbage board you see in these photos is a two or four player (two continuous single tracks) board made from the finest quality diamond willow wood harvested from the deep interior of Alaska.
This piece of diamond willow was harvested just off the Kantishna River which is a tributary of the Tanana River. This is a place were some of the finest, most radical diamond willow grows. It was harvested and hand crafted by me personally (H. Plass).
The particular board is one of only 12 that will be crafted in the next 9 months. Each board will be personally signed, dated and individually numbered.

"I AM A CRIBBAGE BOARD COLLECTOR AND HAVE OVER 200 IN MY COLLECTION. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE LIKE THIS AND ANXIOUSLY LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING IT. BEST PERSONAL REGARDS"
"I was VERY excited when I saw the board on ebay.
I have many unique boards, but none even close to this. I have one made by an
older gentleman in the Florida Keys, which is carved and drilled into a
Barracuda "bill" and one recently acquired in Northern Wisconsin carved into a
hand cut piece of scrimshawed whale tooth and engraved with the etched image of
three schooners, but the one you made sounds interesting because I am a nature
photographer and plan to display it with my Fall color photos."
