Alaskan Diamond Willow Cribbage Board #02

   This is a two track, 121 points (2 single tracks) cribbage board hand crafted out of Alaskan Diamond Willow. The board measures 24 inches in length and 3 inches in diameter at the larger end. It includes a new deck of cards and six pegs (3 of each color). The pegs are stored in a hole in the end of the board that has a wood plug holding the pegs in.
   I selected this piece of diamond willow from deep within the "Interior" of Alaska near a small village named Galena. This was a 280 mile airplane ride, 20 mile snowmobile ride and 3/4 mile hike from the nearest road. It is truly a one of a kind. Well, almost. The other end of this board was also used to craft a cribbage board out of (board #03).
   Only if you've ever work with diamond willow can you begin to imagine how much time and effort was involved in making this board.
