Introduces the all new.... FireStorm "FireBox" |
||||
| Don't let those frigid Alaska days
and nights keep your GPS or digital cameras from working properly. Don't
let cold temperatures force your vital trap-line electronics to stop
functioning. Stop having to depend on body heat to keep batteries warm.
You need a FireBox!
This simple design diverts a small amount of warm air coming off your sno-go engine into a small, form filled box mounted on your dash. The box is large enough to hold your GPS, digital camera, head lamp and spare batteries. The foam inside helps to hold in heat for the short periods of time your engine is shut off. The hose quickly detaches from the box so you can defog your glasses, face mask or goggles. |

The FireStorm FireBox has a hinged
lid for quick access to GPS and camera. The lid has a clear window so you
can view your GPS without having to open it up.
GPS receivers have no problem receiving signals while inside the box. The FireBox is water tight to keep melting snow off your electronics. This design has been testing and determined to be the best solution thus far for me. Although, the design is far from improved and most certainly will need more engineering. |
