Alaskan Diamond Willow Lamp (#2)

This is the second diamond willow lamp made thus far. As some of you know all of my lamps and cribbage boards are hand crafted by me personally. I select only the finest diamond willow from deep in the interior of Alaska. There is no road access where I harvest my diamond willow. In fact, I must first fly 380 miles to a remote village and then travel by snowmobile another 30 plus miles to find the unique qualities I look for. This is no roadside diamond willow.
This lamp stands 16 inches tall. Like all of my work, this too is a fine piece of "functional" artwork. It uses a 40 watt bulb and has a switch in the cord. This will make a nice book shelf lamp or small end table piece. All of my work is signed, dated and numbered. Click on the pictures to the right for larger views of this lamp. |
