Three-Day Slough "A Possible Scupper"

Durring the winter of 2001 (January-February) five friends set out from Galena to a place called Three-Day Slough. We won't discuss the purpose or reason for this excursion except to say that...do you ever really need a reason?
Team "Scupper-Chuck" arrived back in Galena two days later unsuccessful in all aspects except to acquire nearly 350 more miles of travel on their snowmobiles. Here are a few highlights of the trip.

Setting wolf snares:
Arriving at the site, Todd and David hike in and choose the best location for their sets. The snow is deep and working together is vital. Several snares are set in a single area. They try to cover every opening that a wolf would possibly pass through.
